Vintage PHILIPS AD5061/M8 128mm 5" full-range SPEAKER Whizzer Cone Working (#1)

Description

Offered here is one vintage Philips 5" (128mm) AD5061/M8 Full Range Driver with a 2-3/16" (55mm) Whizzer Cone -- tested and working -- in Good Vintage Condition, not perfect, with some color-fading on the paper cones.
This driver was used in many 1970s speaker systems, including the Rectilinear III.
One voice coil with two cones. The smaller cone extends the high range of the larger speaker.
Whizzer cone is terminated with a flat ring to reduce whizzer resonances.
I am selling two of these in two separate auctions and will combine shipping if one buyer has the winning bids on both.
This was removed June 2021 from a circa 1976 Heathkit AS-1373 speaker -- fully tested and working properly as designed.
In the Heathkit AS-1373 manual, the specs for this midrange driver are stated as:

Drivers have CLOTH surrounds.
Original Open-Cell foam is still in good shape for rear-mount gasket installation.
Trademark octagonal 8-legged stamped basket.

This speaker weighs just over 1 lb 5 oz
