Vintage Antique 1930s Wood Ansley Tube Radio - Very Nice and Working

This is a vintage 1930s Ansley Tube Radio by the Ansley Radio Corp. of Long Island City, NY.  I have never seen this radio before and I could not find a model number for it.  It is a very interesting 6-tube superhet set with both broadcast and shortwave bands.  The chassis is exceptionally clean and the antenna looks almost new.  It has a Rola speaker that is in mint condition.  The circular dial is excellent and lighted by two pilot lamps.  The cabinet is solid wood and in very good condition, so is the wood back cover.  The top may have had a handle at some point in the past.  The radio was recapped by its previous owner and is tuning stations in my area with very nice sound.  Please view all the pictures, they are a part of my description.  Please ask any questions before bidding. The radio is being sold AS IS and without warranty.  The approximate dimensions are 13.25" W X 8" H X 6.50" D.  The radio is heavy for its relatively small size.  Your radio will be safely packed and insured when shipped.
