Vintage Acoustic Research AR-3 Pair of Matching Speakers Early 1970's

I picked these up at a local estate auction. Pine Cabinets. As you can see, there are some scratch marks etc... They do work. However, I know that they will possibly need a recap and the controls cleaned to sound the best. I have not removed the grills or touched anything inside. Not sure why the previous owner has fuses attached to the back of the cabinets. Willing to meet 250-300 miles from Zip 41018 if you dont want these shipped. Please contact for details.
Speakers weigh in at a massive 48 pounds each and measure 25" tall. Appears previous owner had these on their sides as there is some residue present (6 dots on each side of speaker) Maybe they had felt pads at one point. One of the grills is a little wavy.
