Joseph pauli violin

This is a Joseph Pauli violin.  It plays beautifully.  It is very old. The scroll was repaired. It comes with the case.  You can hear the violin at this link https://youtu.be/bfCWLUXY7IQ.  There looks like a repair was made to the back of the violin. It is above the sound post. It is a 2 piece back and the same material was used on the seam of the violin.  You will not find many violins constructed with wood that is over 200 years old.  If you play the violin you know how important the sound is.  If you are looking to stand out in an orchestra the age of the violin is obvious from the shrinking varnish. There is no crack at the sound post.  To build this violin you have to start with 200 year old spruce and maple wood.  Wood which you can not buy anywhere in the world.  The violin wood was aged before they were assembled in the pauli era and before.  This violin is great for a virtuoso.  I have taken this violin to virtuosos for their opinion on the sound and play-ability of the violin.  Specifically the e string.  I recorded one of the individuals I hired to play so you could hear the violin. I could tell you the violin sounds great but if you hear yourself you wont have to ask.  If you are really informed about violin makers, construction, and age you will understand what I am saying.  Few violins from makers in this era exist today.  Amati, vuillume-1875, stradivarious-1737, guanerri-1744, gua-1786, klotz-1743,and torte made bows. This violin is dated 1808 and it sounds lovely. The violin sounds just like it does in the video.
