    Description

Titanium bolt hoes who run ODI Lock On grips, this is for you! After searching high and low forever, I finally decided to make my own titanium bolts for ODI Lock Ons.  As you may or may not know, ODI uses an odd size for their Lock On grips.  I am a machinist with 20 years experience and I value details and finish.  I made these correctly.  I realize this is a niche product as ODI Lock Ons may not be the right grip for everyone, but I have ridden them for years and appreciate their durability and security.  These bolts were near net machined from 0.250" Hempel Grade 5 (6Al4V) titanium bar stock, then threaded via cold rolling, and finished on my Mazak lathe.  I then polished them and degreased them to finish them off correctly. They are an exact fit for ODI Lock On grips. I cannot verify their fit with other grip brands so buy at your own risk if you are trying to fit these in other grips.
I hope you'll enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them! 100% made in the USA as well, for those who still care about this kind of thing. I'm probably losing money at the price I'm selling them, but I think this is fair, and I hope you will too. You'll receive a pack of 6 brand new bolts when you buy this kit, which will be enough to equip a pair of ODI Lock On grips, and have a couple extras.  I used to use the Lizard Skins version Lock On grip, but went to Vans and like these a lot.
By the way, the last picture on the scale is a stock bolt. You'll save a few grams using these, but you'll gain a much better bolt than stock. And one that cannot rust, even in saltwater. I suggest a little anti-seize upon installation, and use a brand new sharp 2.5 mm hex key and avoid the ball end ones as titanium is soft and will round out if not treated with care.
    Happy riding!
