Bose 901 Series 1 Speakers FULLY BEAUTIFULLY REFINISHED 👀.
These speakers have been lovingly refinished in a beautiful satin Minwax English Chestnut stain. I used 220 grit sandpaper to remove the original stain put on by the factory, 800 grit to buff and 1500 grit sand paper to add an amazing finish to these beautiful speakers. I used a Minwax polyurethane to seal and protect the finish while adding to the cosmetic beauty of the speakers! I then custom fabricated Velcro to the inside of the grills for easy access to the drivers. The speakers have been tested for a short 30 minute listening session and they work just fine. Be very careful taking the grills off as the Velcro is still new and very strong. There is only one flaw on these speakers and that is one of the 16 drivers has a cone pushed in, although you must remember this may or may not effect play. There are some minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with the age of these speakers. Original label on one came off from sanding, other remains. Ask any questions you have, I will be sure to answer them to the best of my knowledge. These speakers are a beautiful piece of audio history, own them today! 😃 (speakers have been pre drilled by a previous owner for for prior use with their stands)
