The finish is similar to a Cloisonné finish.
The die-struck metal is plated,
then meticulously
hand detailed using a soft enamel process,
fired and given
a protective
epoxy "dome".
The medallion is about 2 1/5 inches wide by 1 1/5 inches tall and features pins and two phillips head screws
in the back for mounting (see the scan of the back)
