  • Condition: For PARTS or REPAIR Only. This radio does power up, though it takes the tubes a minute to heat up and start working. The back is missing from this radio, as well as part of a fiberboard support that I think supports a circular wire antenna. Case is cracked on right side, and has been glued. The wire that controls the tuner as well as the station indicator has broken, though you can manually turn the wheel on the inside to change station. Sold AS-IS, NO RETURNS.

    Hello, radio fan! Today we have an antique Radiola 76ZX11, which we are selling for PARTS or REPAIR. This radio does power on, though it takes a minute for the tubes to heat up and the volume to kick in. This guy seems to have had a hard life; the case has been cracked and repaired with glue, the back is missing, part of the fiberboard support that holds what I think is a coiled wire antenna is missing, and the wire that connects the tuning knob AND moves the station indicator has broken. You can reach in and turn the wheel by hand to change station, but this is not recommended as it may not be safe. Not to mention it's just guesswork as to where you are on the dial.
    Please note that this radio is for sale AS-IS, with no returns.
    Now the good news: this is pretty cool looking. It would look great on a shelf or may be useful as a stage prop. Plus, if you only like one station and can get lucky and find it, it would be tough for anyone to change your station.
