Acoustic Research AR-4X Speakers ( Pair )

Description

AR4 book shelf speakers. Cosmetically a little rough from a number moves over the years. The wood finish has marks, scrapes and chips while the speaker covers are brittle with some holes and a missing AR logo pin on 1 speaker. See photos.  The tweeter adjustments are a little scratchy and need to be turned several times to lock in. But once done, the speakers still sound good. Listening to acoustic or classical music you can hear what the instruments really sound like. If you are after a wall of sound with thumping bass you should probably look at other speakers. These are classic Acoustic Research speakers.
